Kaleido
This modular system redefines shared domestic space for humans and pets through a flexible and adaptable design approach. The project integrates pet activities into contemporary interiors, transforming furniture into an interconnected spatial system. Modular units can be arranged on floors or walls, while circular openings support natural pet movement and visual connection with users. Tool free assembly and flat pack design enhance flexibility, sustainability, and user participation.
Kaleido Modular Pet Furniture by Dongliang Lu has been featured as a creative example of product design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Kaleido Modular Pet Furniture was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Pet Care, Toys, Supplies and Products for Animals Design in 2026.
