Moses Rowen, the author of the highlighted project Chair by Moses Rowen illustrates, The Coco Chair was designed to combat an urban problem, people stealing shopping trolleys and dumping them on the street or into canals. The galvanised steel frame is naturally weather resistant and is complimented by Teak woodwork. The frame is hand bent using homemade jigs and then brushed to a satin sheen. The Coco raises awareness about socioeconomic interactions and problems in urban environments by catalysing social debate.
